Waste Minimisation Team

The educational pages of this website are part of the education programme to promote the 3Rs, reduce, reuse and recycle throughout Surrey, run by the  waste minimisation team at Surrey Waste Management, on behalf of Surrey County Council.

Through this programme we can offer assemblies and lessons to schools on a range of subjects surrounding  the 3Rs.  As well as talks, workshops and the 3Rs challenge badge to out of school groups.  To enquire about these and our availabilty to visit your school or group please contact us.

As we work on behalf of Surrey County Council, we are able to offer this programme at no charge to schools or groups within Surrey.

Surrey Waste Management runs the 15 Community Recycling Centres, 4 waste transfer stations and one Materials Recovering Facility (MRF) in Surrey on behalf of Surrey County Council.
